Introduction:There are two behaviors that God looks out for in the prayer life of believers. These attitudes are desperation and faith. There are several instances in the bible where God stopped to listen to the desperate complaints of individuals and groups and through their faith, stepped into their situations. We will consider the cases of The Blind Bartimaeus, Hannah, Jacob, Zacchaeus, etc. however, it is pertinent to understand what it is to be desperate and also to have faith.

Who is Mr. Mephiboshet?
Mephiboshet was the son of Jonathan, the son of King Saul. He was lame. 2Sam. 4:4. And Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son that was lame on his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel, and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth.

Breach Repairers Assembly
  • Praying to God is like loading the cloud and when the cloud is saturated, it empties itself on the loader. Ecl. 11:3.
  • A closed mouth gives birth to a closed destiny.
  • Note: life does not give you what you deserve or what you desire but what you demand in place of prayers to God.
  • God expects us not to give him rest but to always open our mouths and declare regularly what we want from him in place of prayers. Isaiah 62:6-7, psalm 81:10-11, Luke.18:1, 7-8.
